MISSION

CFD MISSION 

The Mission of the Centre for Development (CfD) Scotland is to promote and strengthen the socio-economic development community via undertaking creative and innovative initiatives to facilitate closer connectivity and interaction thereof amongst development practitioners, academics, researchers, social entrepreneurs, arts and cultural operators, NGO operators, investors and donors, etc, and encourage inter-disciplinary exchange and cooperation towards greater mutual benefit of diverse civic society organizations and communities in Scotland and the developing countries.

The CfD seeks to influence the development of both Scotland and developing countries through promoting collaborations and useful links in areas of education and research, identifying mutually beneficial investment opportunities, trade and tourism prospects, promoting cultural exchanges, exploring youth work placements and job opportunities in these countries - in close association with the Scottish universities.
